Jessica Hische

Jessica Hische is a designer, illustrator and typographer who lives in Brooklyn. Her work includes designing, in her words, pretty things and drawing styles of type.  Her work spans a vast range of jobs including editorial illustration and designing hand lettering for romantic novel covers.

I believe that her work has to be admired and when you study it you experience a feel good feeling.  Below I have displayed a few pieces that really caught my eye.  Click here to view more of her work

Lego Calendar

lego

Lego are about to launch their first UK calendar which will be for charity.  Throughout the calendar a range of Lego characters will be used.  On many occasions these Lego characters will have everyday objects placed around them which will in some way relate to the given month.  All elements that have been implemented have been on sale at some point in time and this even included the terrified expressions that are sometime in existence.

Ben Watts a freelance designer/photographer is responsible for this work.  He currently works at Lego Headquarters in Slough.  I have posted some of the photographs that will be used within the finished calendar.
