InDesign question

Does anyone know how to put a running headline and page number onto an InDesign document without having to type it on? Any thoughts would be welcome.

  1. Hi Leah – Any element you want to appear on more than one page can be placed on a ‘master page’, which is then applied to multiple pages within your document. By default, your pages in ID are based on ‘A Master’. If you add text to ‘A Master’, that text will appear on all normal pages that are based on ‘A Master’.
